Abstract

This research aims to treat drainage water into clean water using simple technology  in  Palangkaraya  City.  The  research  was  conducted  on drainage water at Jalan Banteng, which is often used by the local community for daily activities such as washing and bathing. The method used was simple filtration technology using sand, gravel, charcoal, and coconut fiber. The results showed that this technology effectively reduced water turbidity and increased the pH to meet clean water standards according to the Indonesian Ministry of Health Regulation No. 32 of 2017. Therefore,  this  technology  is  expected  to  provide  a  solution  for communities with limited access to clean water.
