About Jurnal Lingkungan Nusantara (JIL)

Jurnal Lingkungan Nusantara (JIL) is an international scientific open-access journal managed by the Department of Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Science, Universitas Jantoscv, in collaboration with the Central Board of the Environmental Studies Association (Pengurus Pusat Studi Lingkungan Indonesia) and published twice a year (in February and July) by the Institute for Research and Community Services, Universitas Jantoscv.

Jurnal Lingkungan Nusantara (JIL) accepts scientific articles as original research articles, short communication, reviews, and mini-reviews from anyone without any discrimination, as long as they submit articles that meet scientific principles.

As a distinctive feature, the Jurnal Lingkungan Nusantara (JIL) prioritizes research articles conducted in Indonesia and those conducted by researchers from institutions in Indonesia. However, articles from researchers outside Indonesia are also welcome.

Jurnal Lingkungan Nusantara (JIL) publishes various scientific articles covering Environmental Sciences in the field, but not limited to:

  • Environmental Policy and Planning
  • Environmental Engineering
  • Conservation and Biodiversity
  • Waste Management
  • Climate Change and Mitigation

Apart from these topics, the Jurnal Lingkungan Nusantara (JIL) also accepts other manuscripts in the broader field of environmental studies, including case studies, implementation and analysis of various surveys related to environmental impact assessments, and other original research related to environmental sciences and management.
